Wiper Patriotic Front Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday turned heads with his symbolic jungle green outfit as he led a delegation to Bondo to pay tribute to the late Raila Amollo Odinga.
The outfit, reminiscent of what he often wore during street demonstrations in recent years, carried a deep political message.
“I am dressed this way to honour the father of maandamano,” Kalonzo declared.
“We resisted, and Kenyans are still resisting bad governance.”
The Wiper leader described Raila as “the father of maandamano,” crediting him for championing Kenya’s democratic freedoms through peaceful protests and civic action.
Kalonzo’s choice of attire was a deliberate gesture meant to evoke the spirit of political struggle that defined Raila’s legacy.
